VINACS opens its air catering facility at Noi Bai International Airport
On March 24, Vietnam Air Catering Services Join Stock Company (VINACS) officially opened and put into operation the first air catering facility at Noi Bai International Airport, Ha Noi. The facility was completed after nearly 9 months of construction.
The ceremony was attended by leaders from local authorities, leaders of Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority, Northern Airport Authority and leaders of Noi Bai International Airport. In particular, the opening ceremony was attended by representatives of more than 30 domestic and international airlines and representatives of banks, contractors, investors and news agencies.
Mr. Duong Tien Nghia - General Director of VINACS - affirmed that the project of air catering facility at Noi Bai International Airport has completed all items according to the target and projected progress, and is considered as a modern air catering facility in the region

Mr. Vo Huy Cuong, Deputy Director of Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, warmly congratulated VINACS on the encouraging results of the facility's early commissioning operation in March 2017 and believes that VINACS will actively contribute to the overall development of the airline catering services industry in general and Noi Bai International Airport in particular. He hopes that with the appearance of VINACS, the air services provided at Noi Bai International Airport will be expanded, improved and better developed.

VINACS’s catering facility at Noi Bai International Airport covers an area of 7.528 m2, comprising two floors and a basement, and is designed and consulted by leading professionals from Japan and Singapore in air catering industry with the latest European technologies. The construction of the Facility ensures that it meets the strict requirements of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the provisions of Vietnamese law on food hygiene and safety, aviation security and safety. International certificates ensure the highest standards of quality of products and services. After its operation, the facility has a capacity of 10,000 meals per day, providing a variety of European, Asian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Muslim, religious, Dietary and vegetarian meals on airline flights.
According to the leaders of VINACS, after opening the air catering facility at Noi Bai International Airport, the other at Cam Ranh International Airport will be opened in April 2017. These are two out of four VINACS factories at Vietnam International Airports, whose operations are authorized by the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam The other two facilities are expected to be built at Da Nang International Airport and Phu Quoc International Airport in late 2017
